In a post shared via Instagram on Tuesday, Makinwa declared that emotional pain from heartbreak is a thing of the past for her—unless it’s tied to finances.
“My age no longer allows me to suffer for love,” she wrote. “If you see me sad, it’s because of money o.”
The post was met with a wave of amused and supportive comments. Many fans called her relatable, with some describing her as “a whole mood.”
Makinwa also flaunted a sleek high ponytail in the post, tagging her hairstylist @malliaworld for the “flawless frontal” and jeweller @akano_diamonds for the sparkling accessories.
This recent declaration comes months after the OAP made headlines for revealing her openness to remarriage—even if it meant becoming a second, third, or even fifth wife. Speaking on her podcast Toke Moments, she said:
“In all honesty, at this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it.”
Toke Makinwa continues to be a central voice in conversations around modern relationships, self-worth, and living unapologetically in the spotlight.
