Ahmad Baba, a dedicated supporter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has praised the politician as a resilient and committed statesman who has consistently stood firm for Nigeria despite enduring numerous setbacks.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Baba emphasized that, in a country often marked by political instability and broken promises, Atiku Abubakar has remained steadfast, showcasing not only his strength but also his vision and deep commitment to the future of Nigeria.

In a statement released on Sunday, Baba remarked: “Despite facing electoral challenges, political betrayals, and defections, Atiku Abubakar has continued to lead—not out of desperation but from a strong belief in his ability to guide Nigeria into a new era of unity and progress.”

Baba highlighted that leadership should not be defined by victories alone but by the ability to rise after each fall, grow wiser, and maintain the resolve to serve the nation.

Citing a senior member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Baba stated that Atiku embodies resilience. He noted that the former Vice President does not just believe in Nigeria but also in every Nigerian and remains committed to realizing the dream of a better nation.

Baba further lauded Atiku’s instrumental role in transforming Nigeria’s economy, especially during his tenure as Vice President from 1999 to 2007, where he helped liberalize key sectors like telecommunications, banking, and infrastructure—laying the foundation for Nigeria’s digital and economic growth.

He also praised Atiku’s contributions beyond politics, citing his establishment of the American University of Nigeria (AUN) in Yola, which highlights his dedication to shaping the minds of future leaders. In regions plagued by insecurity and unemployment, Atiku has focused on creating opportunities and educational facilities rather than resorting to division or oppression.

Despite the betrayals from political allies and defections from his party, Atiku remains undeterred, Baba noted. He pointed out that while the recent defections from the PDP may challenge the party’s unity, Atiku’s determination remains resolute.

Baba concluded by quoting a spokesperson from Atiku’s media team, affirming that the former Vice President’s mission transcends the moment. He stressed that as Nigeria faces unprecedented challenges, Atiku is the experienced, visionary leader who understands governance, has created jobs, and can foster unity and prosperity.

Atiku’s candidacy, according to Baba, represents more than just a political race—it’s a movement for restoration, for leadership driven by competence, compassion, and courage.

Oloyede said many of the issues recorded during the mock exercise were due to poor assessment of centres by some technical officials.

He further stated that incentive packages would be awarded to teams that perform exceptionally, particularly in handling exam materials and submitting timely reports.

Reiterating JAMB’s zero-tolerance stance on malpractice, he warned candidates against bringing prohibited items into examination halls.
