Anambra Elders Rally Behind Soludo’s Second-Term Bid

Elders of Oyi Local Government Area in Anambra State, operating under the umbrella of the Oyi Elders Consultative Forum, have publicly endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s bid for a second term in office.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The endorsement took place during the official commissioning of the forum’s new office located in Nteje, the administrative center of the local government. The motion for endorsement was formally moved by the council chairman, Dr. Emma Nweke, and seconded by respected elder statesman, Chief Elochukwu Gwacham.

According to the Forum, their decision is rooted in appreciation for Governor Soludo’s developmental strides across the state. Chidiebele Obika, a member of the forum and the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, emphasized that Soludo has made notable progress during his first tenure and deserves another term to complete his initiatives.

Obika stated: “The governor’s impact is clearly visible, especially in Oyi. From the Eke Igwe Nteje-Nando road to the Nkwelle Ezunaka-Nteje Airport road and the Umunya-Ogbunike road, his projects have touched many lives. We are fully committed to mobilizing support for his reelection.”

He further explained that the forum comprises influential stakeholders from various political affiliations and nonpartisan individuals united by a common vision for Oyi’s progress.

Dr. Chike Obidigbo, chairman of the Osisioma Foundation and patron of the forum, reinforced the group’s commitment to community advancement. He urged public office holders from the area to prioritize human capital development, noting its pivotal role in fostering sustainable growth.
