Ordinary President Not Missing, Only Taking a Break – Associate Clarifies
An associate of Ahmad Isah, popularly known as the “Ordinary President,” has debunked circulating social media reports alleging that the renowned human rights crusader was arrested and imprisoned.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Describing the claims as “false, misleading, and baseless,” the associate, who has worked alongside Isah for over 16 years, confirmed that the Brekete Family host is alive, healthy, and simply taking a much-needed rest.
“For 16 years, Ahmad Isah has relentlessly championed the cause of the oppressed and the voiceless. Apart from moments of personal loss or after facing violent encounters, he has hardly taken any time off,” the associate said.
Speaking further through journalist Zagazola Makama, it was clarified that Isah voluntarily stepped back from public engagements to rejuvenate, contrary to rumors of his arrest or detention.
“At 4 a.m., while others slept, he was already working tirelessly for justice. His days were filled with broadcasts, interventions, and advocacy. Even the strongest warriors require time to rest and regain their strength,” the associate emphasized.
He urged Nigerians to disregard the false reports and instead pray for the “Ordinary President” during his time of rest.
“Ahmad Isah is not missing. He is not broken. He is not defeated. He is resting, preparing to return even stronger in the ongoing battle against injustice,” the statement concluded.
The associate also appealed to media outlets and the public to verify any information before sharing, particularly regarding individuals who have dedicated their lives to public service.
Ahmad Isah is celebrated for his passionate advocacy for human rights through the Brekete Family radio and television program, which offers a platform for ordinary citizens seeking justice and redress.
