Over the weekend, Priscilla’s lavish wedding attracted widespread attention online, prompting some social media users to mock Lizzy Anjorin and suggest she harbored jealousy over the event.

In response, Anjorin took to her Instagram page on Monday, April 21, addressing the backlash in a video. She urged the public to set aside her personal differences with Iyabo Ojo and instead focus on celebrating the daughter’s achievements.

She said, “Let’s leave the mother out of this and focus on the daughter. Who wouldn’t admire such a beautiful wedding? Priscilla is focused and determined—qualities every mother prays for in a child, regardless of the mother’s background or reputation.”

Lizzy went on to stress that she harbors no ill feelings toward the young couple or their union. “There’s nothing negative being said about the bride, groom, or their families. So what exactly is there to hate?” she questioned.

She also emphasized that despite attempts to bring her down, she chooses not to retaliate. “You may try to destroy me, but God is using you to elevate me,” she remarked.

Anjorin concluded by applauding Priscilla’s composure, beauty, and independence, adding that the young woman has always stayed in her lane and maintained grace.
