Sunshine Stars Coach Demands More Despite Victory Against Enyimba
Sunshine Stars head coach, Bobola Akinfolarin, has urged his team to raise their performance levels following their narrow 2-1 victory over Enyimba in a keenly contested Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 33 fixture.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The clash took place on Sunday at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode, where Sunshine Stars managed to edge out their formidable opponents. Despite securing all three points, Coach Akinfolarin emphasized that the team must continue working on their physical fitness and overall gameplay.
“This win was essential and gives the team a morale boost,” Akinfolarin told the club’s media. “However, we’re not where we need to be yet. There’s still room for improvement, especially regarding the players’ physical conditioning. That said, I believe we are making progress in the right direction.”
Sunshine Stars will now shift focus to their upcoming matchday 34 fixture, where they face Rivers United in Port Harcourt.
