On Monday, April 14, 2025, Laide took to Instagram to share a series of screenshots from a direct message (DM) she received from Eniola, in which she expressed displeasure over a photo of them circulating online. In the message, Eniola accused Laide of displaying “animalistic behavior” and demanded that she keep her distance.

In her Instagram post, Laide recalled how she played a pivotal role in giving Eniola her first major break in the entertainment industry when no one was willing to work with her due to her appearance. She also accused Eniola of being ungrateful, claiming that she spent her own money to support her career, only to be repaid with insults.

Laide’s post read, “I gave you your first major role when no one wanted to associate with you because of your looks. You have started something you can’t finish, and I promise you, you will pay for it.”

This public outburst has added fuel to the ongoing tensions between the two actresses, who have had a contentious relationship.
