The policy document, which is expected to be finalized within six months, will provide a roadmap to achieving sustainable food security in the FCT.

For the first time since the establishment of the FCTA, this initiative will create a specific framework aimed at achieving food security. Professor Oyinkan Tasie, the lead speaker, highlighted the importance of a holistic approach to solving food security issues, including strengthening food reserves, improving storage capacities, and increasing agricultural financing. Additionally, the policy will focus on promoting climate-resilient agricultural practices to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
