Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Frank Edwards, has revealed how his mother once prevented him from signing a $320,000 deal that would have granted a group control over his music catalogue.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a heartfelt social media post, Edwards shared that his mother not only warned him against the deal but also confiscated his international passport to ensure he couldn’t finalize the agreement. At the time, Edwards admitted that he didn’t understand her reasoning but has since come to appreciate her discernment.

Reflecting on the incident, the singer recalled how his mother once gave him ₦150,000 to start a music studio, advising him to be patient as the money would eventually prove more valuable than the deal. She insisted that the group behind the deal was not aligned with God’s will.

Frank Edwards expressed immense gratitude to his mother, acknowledging her wisdom, love, and guidance. He credited her with steering him away from a decision that could have negatively impacted his career.

He wrote, “Thank you for everything. This space is not enough to write about you. Thank you for being an impenetrable wall of fire! Thank you for always telling me God’s mind about the things I’m doing. None of your words fell to the ground because you truly hear from God.”

Edwards also recalled questioning how ₦150,000 could be greater than $320,000 at the time, but he now understands his mother’s perspective. He described the incident as a life lesson and expressed his endless appreciation for her motherly instincts.

The gospel singer concluded by celebrating his mother on Mother’s Day, acknowledging that her unwavering support and prayers have shaped his journey in the music industry.
