The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has expressed firm belief that Nigerians have the ability to eradicate corruption through collective determination and commitment. He stated, “Nigerians are stronger than corruption. No act of corruption can break our collective resolve. We have everything needed to confront and overcome economic and financial crimes.” Olukoyede further called on Muslims to embrace the values of Ramadan, including self-discipline, sacrifice, and purity, and channel these virtues into a steadfast commitment to reject corruption.

Congratulating Muslims on Eid, Olukoyede urged them to reflect on the lessons of the holy month and use these teachings to build a stronger commitment to integrity. He assured Nigerians that the EFCC’s efforts in fighting corruption are on track and gaining momentum. According to Olukoyede, the anti-corruption battle is progressing rapidly, with the EFCC working tirelessly to end economic and financial crimes in the country.
