Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has proclaimed himself a “madman under treatment” at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The singer made this statement on Tuesday while pleading with Nigerians and the Ogun State Government after being declared wanted by the state police command.

Portable reportedly clashed with officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during an enforcement operation in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. The officials—TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—alleged that they were violently attacked by Portable and a group of nine thugs after initially interacting with his father regarding a building plan.

The officials managed to escape and reported the incident to the police, leading to an investigation by the State Criminal Investigation Department. While nine accomplices were apprehended, Portable fled the scene and has remained in hiding.

Responding to the situation via Instagram, Portable claimed he was being set up due to his affiliation with Senator Adeola Solomon, known as Yayi. He also declared that he has a medical history at Aro Hospital and carries a card proving his treatment there.

“I fear the government. I am a federal government liability. I’m also a madman; I have prescribed medications that I take regularly. You can confirm from Aro Hospital—I have a card certifying me as a patient,” he stated.

He further added, “I am from Abeokuta, and they take care of me there. I am not a thief; I help people around me regardless of their background.”

President Tinubu has given full backing for the implementation of the ₦68.32 trillion 2026 budget after signing the Appropriation Bill passed by the National Assembly into law.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

He also approved an amendment extending the lifespan of the 2025 budget from March 31 to June 30, 2026, to ensure completion of ongoing capital projects nationwide.

Under the 2026 fiscal plan, ₦4.799 trillion is set aside for statutory transfers, ₦15.8 trillion for debt servicing, ₦15.4 trillion for recurrent spending, while ₦32.2 trillion goes to capital projects—about half of the total budget.

The focus, according to the administration, is on infrastructure development, security, and growth-driven investments aimed at improving living standards.
