Taking to Instagram, Spyro lamented how people regularly approach him for financial help, even going as far as insulting him when he couldn’t provide immediate assistance
I told a guy I didn’t have anything and would see him the next day, and he insulted me,” he shared. “Every time I step out of my house, I spend a minimum of ₦100k on gifts. If I go out three times a week, that’s ₦300k a week, which adds up to ₦1.2m a month, and roughly ₦15 million annually. It’s exhausting.”
Spyro also highlighted the continuous demands for financial help he faces, whether in public spaces, churches, or even online. He expressed his admiration for fellow celebrities dealing with similar challenges, calling them the “real MVPs.”
“Everybody wants to take, but no one thinks about how you’re doing,” he added. “Big shoutout to my colleagues going through the same – you’re the real MVPs, and I celebrate you.
