Timi Frank Denounces Wike’s Land Revocations, Suggests Plot Against 2027 Presidential Opponents

Published

on

Timi Frank, former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has alleged that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, is using land title revocations as a means to target opposition members ahead of the 2027 elections. Frank warned that political figures planning to challenge President Bola Tinubu in 2027 should prepare for Wike’s retaliation, including the revocation of their land titles in Abuja.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Frank further suggested that those who opposed Wike’s actions during his tenure as Governor of Rivers State could also face similar treatment. In a statement released on Saturday, Frank dismissed the reported revocations of the land titles of former President Muhammadu Buhari, House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, and SGF George Akume as part of a political maneuver, calling it a “Nollywood script.”

He claimed that the list of those whose land titles had been revoked was part of Wike’s broader strategy to intimidate and persecute members of opposition parties, especially those who might run against Tinubu. Frank pointed out that both Buhari and Abbas had denied ownership of the lands reportedly targeted by Wike, with the former President saying he had no land in question, and the Speaker denying any debts to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Frank emphasized that Wike would never dare revoke lands belonging to top APC officials in the current administration. He accused Wike of using their names as a diversion from his own controversial actions, including land grabs and demolitions in the FCT, which he said mainly affect vulnerable citizens.

He challenged Wike to provide evidence that the listed APC political officeholders actually owned the land said to have been revoked, likening his actions in Abuja to his previous approach in Rivers State, where he allegedly revoked land titles of political opponents and demolished their properties.
