Governor Mutfwang Vows To Hold Looters Accountable For Illegally Acquired Government Propertie
Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has issued a stern warning to individuals and groups holding government properties illegally, urging them to return these assets immediately. In a statement signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the Governor declared his administration’s commitment to recovering all public properties.
Mutfwang revealed plans to establish a task force that will investigate and recover government properties that have been sold without proper procedure. He added, “I am making it clear now—anyone in possession of government assets illegally should surrender them now before we take action. Those involved in unauthorized sales will be caught and severely punished.”
The Governor further vowed that individuals holding fraudulent Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) would be prosecuted, regardless of their position or status, and assured that anyone who fails to return them voluntarily would bear the full cost of the recovery process.

In a viral video detailing the incident, Sandra explained that hours after participating in the morning service, taking communion, and paying her regular offering, she attempted to fund a voucher purchase by transferring N1,640,200 to her personal Zenith Bank account. Instead, the heavy sum was erroneously sent to the church account.
