NURTW President MC Oluomo Meets Marine Minister Oyetola To Discuss Collaborative Efforts

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the partnership between the NURTW and the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, as highlighted in a statement shared on MC Oluomo’s official Instagram account.
The delegation included key figures from the union, such as the National Secretary, Kayode Agbeyangi, and Sulaimon Ojora (also known as Kudeleti), the Lagos State NURTW Council Treasurer and Chief of Staff to the NURTW National President.
In the statement, MC Oluomo emphasized the importance of the visit, calling it a strategic effort to build alliances with crucial government partners. The statement reads:
“On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), visited the Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, at his office in Abuja. Along with the NURTW President were key officials, including Comrade Kayode Agbeyangi, National Secretary, and Comrade Sulaimon Ojora (Kudeleti), State Treasurer of NURTW Lagos State Council, who also serves as the Chief of Staff to the NURTW National President.
“This visit is part of the NURTW’s ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with vital government stakeholders, aimed at advancing the interests of road transport workers and supporting the development of Nigeria’s transportation sector.
