In a recent interview on the ‘Listen’ podcast, Skales opened up about their past social media fallout. He recalled a time when he was doing a “question-and-answer” session on Twitter and jokingly responded to a fan’s question about Wizkid, saying, “My brother Wiz doesn’t have my time anymore.” This remark led to a series of insults from Wizkid, who attacked him, his family, and even accused him of wearing fake jewelry.

Skales explained that at the time, his ex-girlfriend had responded on his behalf, as he didn’t want to engage in a public feud. He added, “I pick my battles. I knew that no matter what I said, people would just claim I was jealous of Wizkid’s success, so I chose not to fight back.” Reflecting on their relationship, Skales concluded, “I’ve tried to make peace, but Wizkid was never interested. He didn’t like me, and I can say that for sure.”
