I even carried painkillers in my wallet, sharing them with others whenever asked. Looking back, I realize how careless I was.”

The actress also expressed deep concern about the health of her family, noting that her brother was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease and had to begin dialysis. “It was a wake-up call for me. I had been diagnosed earlier, so I’ve been living on medication for almost 12 years now,” she said. “We later discovered that both my brother’s and my condition were linked to long-term drug use.”

Ufuoma’s experience serves as a cautionary tale, urging people to take better care of their health and avoid relying on painkillers without understanding the potential risks. “I wish everyone would realize how important it is to care for their health,” she added. “It’s something we all need to prioritize.
