Nevo News reports that Seyi Law stated this while reacting to the allegation of assault against Aiyedatiwa following a viral video of a man who has a similar facial feature as that of the governor involved in a heated argument with some women.
One of the women was holding the man’s clothes, accusing him of a physical assault.
The video emerged online ahead of the forthcoming Ondo state 2024 Governorship election, generating controversy.
Reacting, Seyi Law, in a post via X, said it will be perceived as oppression if the governor takes legal action against those spreading the video on the internet.
While explaining that the video is a plot by the opposition to demarket his principal ahead of the November 16 election, Seyi pointed out that Aiyedatiwa has no serious contenders and would win the race easily.
He said, “I just landed in Naija, and it is sad that despite several warnings to you, you have refused to do the honourable thing. If the Governor takes this up, your family will shout oppression.
“For your information, the election in Ondo State is no contest. Before 12 noon, una go don see results, run.”

He noted that because Fela extensively toured the world with his band, he received the lion’s share of historical recognition, whereas eastern legends who created timeless music remain largely unacknowledged today.
Expressing that highlife is part of the Afrobeats lineage, Tekno emphasized:
“Fela is not the originator of Afrobeats. Lagos people and the Yorubas might say he is the one, but I am from the East, and we had legends like Oliver De Coque. Oliver De Coque made pure highlife music. Highlife is also Afrobeats.”
Ultimately, the singer maintains that musical history should not overlook the diverse group of unsung legends across different regions who laid the foundation for the genre.

Born in Montreal on July 28, 1941, to American parents, Cullen graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1963 before cutting his teeth on Shakespearean performances in Stratford and acting at Toronto’s Crest Theatre. Over a prolific career spanning television, film, video games, and theme parks, he voiced a diverse array of memorable characters, including the giant ape in the 1976 King Kong remake, the villainous vehicle KARR in Knight Rider, and the alien hunter in the original Predator movie.
However, Cullen left an indelible mark on animation and children’s media during the 1980s and 1990s. He originated the definitive voice of Optimus Prime in the original “Generation 1” series and The Transformers: The Movie (1986), a role he triumphantly reprised when the franchise shifted to live-action under Michael Bay in 2007, continuing through subsequent sequels up to Bumblebee (2018) and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023). Beyond the Autobot leader, generations of children also knew him as the voice of Eeyore in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh franchise, a role he inhabited across multiple series and films starting in the late 1980s.
Recognized for his immense contributions to the industry, Cullen earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2011 for Transformers: Prime and received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Children’s and Family Emmy Awards in 2023. According to the Associated Press, he is survived by his four children: Angus, Claire, Pilar, and Clay.
