Social media influencer, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has shared details of his recent meeting with the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, amid the controversy surrounding an audio clip he released.

Nevonews reports that in the viral recording, Otse brought attention to allegations made by Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, who claimed to have bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with ₦15 million to have money laundering charges against him dropped.

Bobrisky further alleged that he had bribed the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) to avoid serving time in prison.

Following these serious claims, the Nigerian government took swift action, suspending two NCoS officers implicated in the scandal.

On Thursday, VeryDarkMan posted a video of his meeting with the Minister on Facebook, expressing his satisfaction with the suspension of the prison officers and reaffirming his commitment to improving Nigeria.

Speaking on the matter, VeryDarkMan said: “The honorable minister of interior olubunmi tunji OJO YOU HAVE PROVEN YOURSELF TO ME BEFORE SO I WAS JUST RELAXED WATCHING AND BOOM YOU DID IT AGAIN with the suspension of some officers that might be involved with this whole bobrisky saga….much love Egbon it’s a fight to make Nigeria a better place and we will definitely make it a better place with our own little efforts, keep that fire burning, we have picked each others brains and I believe in you for now because as a politician you fit go change tomorrow so for now you are the guy, GOD BLESS YOU,I love you Egbon.”
