Kwankwaso Blasts FG For Bypassing Kano Governor In Palliative Rice Scandal

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the influential National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has unleashed a scathing attack on the Bola Tinubu-led federal government for sidelining Governor Abba Yusuf in the distribution of palliative rice intended for Kano State.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Kwankwaso alleges that, instead of channeling the relief aid through the state governor, the federal authorities handed the rice directly to All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Kano, sparking outrage.

In a statement on social media, Kwankwaso declared, “Over the past week, I witnessed that while the federal government distributed rice palliatives to 35 states through their respective governors, Kano was deliberately excluded. The state’s allocation was given to APC operatives, which not only insults our democratic values but also highlights blatant partisanship.”

He has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to immediately rectify this “shocking derailment of democracy.”

Kwankwaso also expressed alarm over the frequent reshuffling of State Directors of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Kano, arguing that these disruptions are undermining the state’s security.
