During his address on Sunday, in celebration of Eid-El-Kabir, the governor reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to the peace, unity, and progress of Taraba State. He emphasized his unwavering support for security operatives in their efforts to eliminate criminal activities and called on all citizens, regardless of political affiliation, to back his administration’s initiatives for the betterment of the state.
Governor Kefas highlighted the importance of religious harmony, noting that Taraba State is a diverse community where different faiths coexist peacefully. He assured that his administration would continue to be fair to all religious groups.
He appealed to everyone to join hands in building the state, stressing the need for selflessness and mutual respect among citizens. He encouraged maintaining love, decency, and respect for each other’s way of life.
Extending his greetings to the Muslim community across the nation on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, Governor Kefas remarked that the celebration should be a time for sober reflection on the country’s challenges while also recognizing God’s blessings in their lives.
The governor also praised the traditional rulers for their cooperation in the mission to enhance Taraba State. He acknowledged that their efforts, along with those of religious leaders, have significantly contributed to the state’s progress and the effective delivery of democratic benefits.

In his post, Onanuga also noted that one of the teachers had sent a message of gratitude to the President and the security agencies involved in the mission.
