Police Kill Three Notorious Bandits In Katsina StateIn a recent operation in Katsina State, the Police Command has reported the successful neutralization of three notorious bandits during a confrontation. According to ASP Abubakar Sadiq, the Command’s spokesperson, the incident occurred when armed bandits attacked Duya village in Maibakko ward, Sabuwa Local Government Area.

The operation was initiated following a distress call received by the Sabuwa Divisional Police Headquarters on Friday around 19:23 hours. Upon arrival, the bandits engaged the security team in a firefight. The police team responded courageously, successfully thwarting the kidnapping attempt and rescuing all the abducted victims, mostly women. During the operation, three suspected notorious bandits were neutralized.

The State Police Commissioner, Aliyu Abubakar Musa, commended the bravery and gallantry displayed by the operatives during the operation. He reiterated the commitment of the Command to ensuring the safety and security of the people of Katsina State.
