Lukman criticized the manner in which Buhari and Tinubu have managed the affairs of the country over the past nine years, accusing them of undermining democracy by not consulting party leadership and structures.

He emphasized the need for patriotic Nigerians committed to democratic development to question the value of being associated with a political party that merely fields candidates for elections without promoting democratic ideals.

Lukman urged Nigerians to mobilize for the creation of a politically viable alternative platform that can challenge the APC’s dominance and overcome what he perceives as the current leadership’s shortcomings.

He highlighted the importance of democracy in fostering political contest and called for a transformation beyond ceremonial elections, which often result in leaders acting like dictators.

Lukman also criticized the APC’s handling of corruption and social welfare programs, lamenting the lack of commitment to social democracy and the worsening problems of corruption, insecurity, and economic crisis.

In conclusion, Lukman cautioned against any further increase in fuel prices, accusing the President of denying the reintroduction of full subsidy through the back door.

His statement reflects a growing dissatisfaction within the APC and underscores the need for a reevaluation of the party’s leadership and direction.
