Soyinka, in a viral online interview, criticized Obi for allegedly condoning and encouraging the aggressive behavior of his supporters, known as Obidients, online. He also accused the former Governor of Anambra State of dishonesty and misrepresentation.
Reacting to Soyinka’s remarks, Salako, in a video shared on his handle, accused Soyinka of exacerbating issues in the country instead of resolving them at his age. He also alleged that the politician Soyinka is supporting has ties to criminals.
Salako further criticized Soyinka for his past involvement in cultism, suggesting that he has no future in Nigeria at the age of 89. He emphasized the need to focus on improving the country’s situation, highlighting the economic challenges faced by businesses and individuals under the current administration.
