Christian Malanga served as a military officer in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) before transitioning to a political career. In 2011, following controversial parliamentary elections in the DRC, he founded the United Congolese Party (UCP), a national political party aimed at reforming the country’s political landscape. In 2013, Malanga was named the first ambassador of the International Roundtable on Religious Freedom.
