The suspected car thief attempted to scale a fence, but her jogging pants became caught on the metal gates, rendering her unable to free herself from the fabric.

Struggling to maintain balance, the woman nearly fell from the top of the fence, ultimately resorting to sliding off without her pants to avoid injury.

Video footage of the incident suggests that she was either not wearing undergarments or had lost them along with her tracksuit pants during the ordeal.

After landing on the ground, the partially clothed woman improvised by using the arms of her sweater as makeshift trousers.

The unsuccessful burglary took place outside a residence in Maipú, near Santiago, Chile, during the early hours of Tuesday, May 7.

According to reports, the woman was accompanied by an accomplice who fled the scene, leaving her behind upon witnessing the embarrassing turn of events.

Although the woman allegedly searched inside parked cars for valuables, she left without any stolen items.

She managed to escape when security personnel changed shifts shortly after the incident, and it remains uncertain whether law enforcement authorities are pursuing her.
