Diaspora Group Applauds Tinubu’s Neutral Stance Amid Rivers Crisis

ANProD expressed appreciation for President Tinubu’s refusal to align with either party involved in the conflict, citing it as a testament to the strength of democracy.
In October 2023, President Tinubu intervened to mediate the political discord in the state, facilitating the signing of a peace pact agreement by the opposing factions. Despite subsequent hostilities, presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale affirmed Tinubu’s commitment to neutrality.
Dr. Guy Mc-Ikpa, President of ANProD, lauded President Tinubu’s leadership for maintaining impartiality despite Wike’s membership in his cabinet. Mc-Ikpa praised Tinubu’s display of exemplary leadership, highlighting its role in promoting unity, inclusivity, and constructive dialogue for national progress.
