In an interview with content creator Timi Agbaje, Tacha disclosed that her attire for the prestigious event came with a price tag of $100,000, equivalent to approximately 140 million naira.

Responding to Agbaje’s inquiry about the cost of her outfit compared to the previous year’s attire, Tacha confidently asserted, “It’s $100,000 or nothing, bro.”

For the 2024 AMVCA, Tacha stunned in an exquisite all-white stoned dress featuring a unique floating bust design on her shoulders, accompanied by a flowing cape and a matching handbag.

Her fashion statement at the event solidified her status as a style icon, captivating the attention of onlookers and sparking conversations across social media platforms.

Born on July 11, 1942, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and raised partly in Kano, Jacobs developed an early passion for drama and debate. He traveled to Britain to receive professional training at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. Following his studies, he built an extensive international portfolio, performing on stage and featuring in British television and film productions such as The Goodies, Till Death Us Do Part, The Professionals, The Tomorrow People, and The Venturers.

Upon returning to Nigeria, Jacobs cemented his legacy as a foundational pillar of the country’s creative industry, starring in over 100 films and earning widespread acclaim for portraying authoritative figures, kings, and traditional leaders. Beyond his monumental acting career, he actively contributed to the growth and development of Nollywood. He is survived by his wife, renowned actress Joke Silva, and his sons, Olusoji and Olugbenga Jacobs.

COURTROOM DRAMA: Panic As Popular Dancer Poco Lee Fails To Enter Plea In UK Court, Trial Pushed To 2027!.

The pre-trial proceedings for Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, widely known as Poco Lee, have been postponed in the United Kingdom.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The case was scheduled to be heard at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. However, the hearing could not proceed as planned because the charge sheet was not available.

The court has rescheduled the plea and trial preparation hearing for February 8, 2027, at which point Poco Lee is expected to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. According to reports, the main trial is set to begin on March 8, 2027.

Poco Lee previously appeared before the same court on September 11, 2026, at which time he was granted bail.

Following his release on bail, Poco Lee spoke about his experience during a video call with social commentator VeryDarkMan. He maintained his innocence regarding the sexual allegations against him, stating his conscience is clear. He expressed that his primary concern during his time in custody was the welfare of his associates and the disruption to their business activities.

He said, “I was just being myself. God sees my heart. My only worries were about my people. Jago could not do anything business, and I didn’t want to stress anyone. If I was inside there and I did what I was accused of, I would have felt I was paying for my sins, but since I knew I didn’t do what I was accused of, my mind is pure.”
