Teni faced criticism after sharing a video of herself prostrating to greet IBD Dende on a plane via her social media handle.

Responding to the backlash on Sunday morning, Teni explained that she was unaware of any criminal activities associated with IBD Dende. She stated that the businessman had shown her kindness back in 2014, even before she gained fame, and she has since held him in high regard.

The ‘Askamaya’ singer emphasized that she does not support criminals and expressed her belief in allowing the law to take its course.

She wrote, “[I] Met IBD [Dende] in 2014 and he was so good to me, even before I blew up. So when[ever] I see him, it’s always love.

“I honestly had no knowledge of any criminal activities associated with him. I do not support criminals, so let the law take its course.”
