Central African Synergy tells MINUSCA To Fight Rebels, Vows To Write UN Over Alleged Complicity....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Euloge Doctrouvé Koi, a social activist and leader of the Central African Synergy organization, has called on the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic, MINUSCA, to fight rebels, rather than cooperate with them.
MINUSCA is a UN peacekeeping mission, which started on April 10, 2014, to protect Central African Republic civilians under Chapter VII of the UN Charter.
Speaking at a press conference during the weekend, Koi accused MINUSCA contingents of serious violations, as per Centrafrique.
Koi highlighted the brutal crimes committed by military groups in the country since the beginning of 2024.
According to him, “Despite these crimes occurring in close proximity to the peacekeepers, they remained inactive, raising suspicions of their complicity with rebels.”
“The scandal surrounding the MINUSCA contingents in the southeast of the country intensified with the testimony of Hissen Issa, a former FPRC fighter now in custody.
“Issa revealed the close cooperation between the Moroccan contingent of MINUSCA and the FPRC and UPC.
“According to him, the group exchanged gold for weapons and ammunition with the Moroccan soldiers from MINUSCA.
“He also mentioned their role in escalating the conflict between Muslims and Christians in the Haut-Mbomou prefecture.
“To support his claims, Koi presented a video of Issa discussing the interaction between the FPRC and the Moroccan contingent of MINUSCA.
“He also showed a photograph of Issa, then a fighter of the FPRC, sitting alongside Moroccan peacekeepers wearing blue helmets.”
Koi, therefore, expressed his intention to send letters to UN representatives and international experts, seeking their attention to the crimes associated with the cooperation between MINUSCA and the militants.
He urged MINUSCA to genuinely protect civilian populations, aligning with the Defense and Security Forces and their Russian and Rwandan allies, rather than allowing lawless rebels to massacre them.

Cooking Gas Prices Drop Significantly Across Nigeria: Relief for Households and Businesses
A recent survey conducted by Naija News has revealed a notable decrease in the price of cooking gas in Nigeria, offering much-needed relief to households and small businesses. According to the survey, the cost of refilling cooking gas per kilogram has reduced significantly from ₦1,350 to ₦1,020.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
This positive development is expected to ease the financial burden on Nigerian families and small enterprises, especially those that heavily depend on cooking gas as a primary energy source. The survey, encompassing gas stations and vendors from various parts of the country, shows that the reduced price may help lower the overall cost of living.
The revised price breakdown is as follows:
-
1 kg of Cooking Gas: ₦1,020
-
3 kg of Cooking Gas: ₦3,060
-
5 kg of Cooking Gas: ₦5,100
-
10 kg of Cooking Gas: ₦10,200
-
12.5 kg of Cooking Gas: ₦12,750
This decline marks a significant shift from the previous upward trend in gas prices and is likely to positively impact the economy, particularly the food and hospitality sectors. Businesses that rely on cooking gas will experience reduced operational costs, ultimately boosting their profit margins.
Experts attribute the drop in cooking gas prices to several factors, including fluctuations in global energy costs and adjustments within local supply chains. Despite recent variations in crude oil and natural gas prices, the reduction is perceived as a welcome development for Nigerian consumers.
By spending less on cooking gas, households and small businesses will now see some financial relief in their monthly budgets, especially during these economically challenging times.
