According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Command’s spokesman, the suspect was caught red-handed while leading a group of thugs in assaulting a hotel staff member. The assault was reportedly contracted by a disgruntled hotel patron who refused to comply with the establishment’s no-smoking policy.
What makes this case even more egregious is the suspect’s audacity to masquerade as a serving military officer, despite being dismissed from the Nigeria Navy a staggering 24 years ago in 2000.
