In a display of unwavering bravery, police operatives swiftly moved to intercept the brazen criminals, plunging into a fierce exchange of gunfire that echoed through the village. Amidst the chaos, three of the assailants met their demise, their nefarious plans shattered in the face of determined resistance.

As the dust settled, law enforcement emerged victorious, with one suspect captured and the others vanishing into the cover of darkness, nursing wounds inflicted by the clash. Seized from the scene were the tools of their trade: a locally made pistol, ammunition, and evidence of their intent in the form of vandalized wire cables.

CSP Odiko MacDon affirmed, “In compliance with the Commissioner of Police’s directive, a crack team of Ikot Ekpene Division responded to a distress call, engaged armed robbers, numbering about ten, who were robbing at NDDC Hall/National Museum, Ikot Inyang Village and environs.”

The successful operation stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of law enforcement to safeguarding the peace and security of Akwa Ibom State. As the community breathes a collective sigh of relief, the bravery of those who serve on the front lines serves as a beacon of hope in the fight against crime.

reports that the couple opened up about their relationship journey in a recent interview with Teju Babyface, where they reflected on how their love story began and developed over time.

Banky W explained that he had shown romantic interest in Adesua at the early stage, but she placed him in the friend zone for a long period. He said he eventually stopped pursuing her directly and turned to prayer, hoping things would change.

According to him, after about a year and a few months, Adesua contacted him and referred to him as her husband, a moment he described as the turning point in their relationship.

“Adesua was actually the one who asked me to be her husband. She kept me in the friend zone for a long time, so I stopped pushing and simply prayed to God to touch her heart. After a year and a few months, she finally called me ‘my husband’, and that’s it,” he said.

Adesua also spoke about their marriage, revealing that they have been together for 10 years and still share a strong bond. She said they maintain affection through simple habits like holding hands and sleeping close to each other.

She added that she once had reservations about marrying entertainers, pastors, and politicians, but noted that her husband fits all three categories, which she believes reflects a divine plan.

“We’ve been married for 10 years and we still hold each other’s hands all the time. We sleep together with our feet touching each other. I didn’t want to marry an artiste, a pastor and a politician, but God gave me all three,” she said.

reports that the incident occurred on April 30, 2026, during his concert in Perth while he was performing the popular P-Square hit song “Forever.”

The singer was entertaining fans when he suddenly lost his footing and slipped off the stage, creating a moment that quickly drew attention online.

A video of the incident soon went viral, sparking widespread reactions from Nigerians on social media. While some suggested his dark sunglasses may have affected his visibility during the night performance, others linked the fall to his highly publicised split from his twin brother.

Paul Okoye was one half of the former music duo P-Square, which he formed alongside his twin brother, Peter Okoye.

The duo eventually parted ways following prolonged disagreements over financial matters, royalty sharing, and the management of their music business.

Since their separation, both brothers have continued to pursue solo music careers, performing independently and building their individual brands.

In a separate development, Rudeboy recently opened up about how he knew his wife, Ivy Ifeoma, was the right partner for him.

He described marriage as enjoyable but stressed that it should not be seen as a do-or-die commitment.

According to him, “Marriage is fun, but not a do-or-die affair, and separation is allowed.”
