Kosoko made the revelation during an interview with African A-List, where he praised Akindele’s work ethic, dedication and attention to detail on movie sets.

The veteran actor explained that working with the filmmaker could be demanding because of her determination to get every scene right. According to him, Akindele sometimes insists on shooting a scene as many as 15 times to achieve the desired outcome.

He further disclosed that she could decide to reshoot scenes the following day after noticing details that needed correction, even when the cast and crew had already moved on from them.

Kosoko described Akindele as exceptionally hardworking, noting that her energy and commitment could be difficult to match.

Reacting to his comments, Akindele shared the interview clip on her X page and responded with several laughing and see-no-evil monkey emojis.

Meanwhile, veteran Nollywood actor Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has defended Akindele against claims that she is too strict on movie sets.

Speaking in an interview with FeelrightTV, Oyetoro explained that firmness was sometimes necessary to manage large-scale film productions involving substantial budgets and numerous cast and crew members.

He also said Akindele treated him well when they worked together, describing her as a caring and humble person.

Bakare expressed her displeasure in an Instagram post on Tuesday, where she dismissed Badmus’ apology in a brief statement.

“Fake apology,” she wrote.

Her reaction came hours after Badmus apologised over her conduct during a recent interview in which Bakare’s name was mentioned.

The controversy began after a video from an interview hosted by Isbae U circulated on social media. In the clip, Badmus appeared to shrug and change her facial expression when the interviewer mentioned Bakare among his favourite actresses.

Bakare also described her colleague as a nuisance and questioned why she continued to engage in actions she believed were aimed at tarnishing her reputation.

Following the backlash, Badmus acknowledged that her reaction during the interview might have appeared dismissive and offered an apology to Bakare.

She maintained that despite any differences between them, she preferred peace and wished her colleague well.

Badmus further noted that people continued to learn and grow through life, adding that maturity sometimes required letting go of disagreements and moving forward.

Recall that the entertainer was reportedly shot in March 2026 while filming at the Sango-Ota Bridge in Ogun State.

The incident allegedly left him with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was initially rushed to a hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos before being transferred to another medical facility in the Government Residential Area of Ikeja.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the incident at the time, explaining that it was officially reported by a private hospital where the comedian was first taken for treatment in Alakuko.

News of the shooting surfaced online on March 13, sparking widespread concern among his fans and other social media users over his condition.

Following the incident, Broda Shaggi reportedly took a break from social media and suspended his content creation activities, including his comedy skits.

However, on Tuesday, the comedian shared a short video on his Instagram page showing him being rushed to a hospital with an apparent gunshot injury and bloodstains on his body.

In the post, Shaggi disclosed that the incident occurred on March 9, describing the experience as “A day in my life I wished never happened.”

The entertainer also revealed that he would share more details about the shooting with the public on Wednesday.

His post has since drawn attention to the frightening experience, with fans awaiting further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident and how he managed to survive.
