Controversial Nigerian artist, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has provided clarification on why he decided to exhume and reinter the remains of his mother.
According to reports from Naija News, the ‘Zazu’ crooner recently oversaw the reburial of his mother’s corpse.

Additionally, the singer shared his intentions to erect a mansion on the site where his mother was reburied.
He expressed, “I tragically lost my mother when I was just 13 years old. I had to relocate her remains because the land where she was initially laid to rest had been sold.”
Meanwhile, in unrelated news, controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has issued a warning to Davido about the influence of his associates on his spiritual growth in music.
Maduagwu cautioned that Davido’s musical progression might be hindered by his close companions, suggesting that Portable could surpass him in winning a Grammy if he continues to associate with individuals like Tunde Ednut and the Cubana Chief Priest.
Maduagwu emphasized, “Davido, the people you surround yourself with are draining your music growth spiritually. Its now so bad that even Buju, Tacha, Phyna and others dey shade you like kilode.”

reports that the bout took place at Chaos in the Ring 4 inside Balmoral Hall at the Federal Palace Hotel, where Carter Efe also secured a ₦50 million cash prize following his victory.
The fight ended in his favour by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 27–30.
Speaking after the match, Carter Efe said he felt like a global boxing star and described the fight as surprisingly easy. He claimed he dominated from the opening round and said Portable struggled significantly after absorbing early blows.
According to him, Portable began to lose energy by the second round and appeared unstable, while the final round saw him unable to maintain momentum.
“I am feeling like an international world star. My new name is Carter Mayweather. The fight was so easy. First round, I already damaged his face. Second round, he was shaking. Third round, he fainted,” he said.
Meanwhile, Portable has expressed dissatisfaction over the outcome of the match, alleging unfair treatment after his defeat to Carter Efe.
reports that the singer made the claim during a live Instagram session on Saturday morning, insisting that the fight was not properly judged.
He accused Carter Efe of lacking professionalism and also alleged that the organisers failed to properly count his punches during the contest.

He said he eventually stopped pursuing her directly and turned to prayer, hoping things would change. According to him, after about a year and a few months, Adesua contacted him and referred to him as her husband, a moment he described as the turning point in their relationship. “Adesua was actually the one who asked me to be her husband. She kept me in the friend zone for a long time, so I stopped pushing and simply prayed to God to touch her heart. After a year and a few months, she finally called me ‘my husband’, and that’s it,” he said. Adesua also spoke about their marriage, revealing that they have been together for 10 years and still share a strong bond. She said they maintain affection through simple habits like holding hands and sleeping close to each other. She added that she once had reservations about marrying entertainers, pastors, and politicians, but noted that her husband fits all three categories, which she believes reflects a divine plan. “We’ve been married for 10 years and we still hold each other’s hands all the time. We sleep together with our feet touching each other. I didn’t want to marry an artiste, a pastor and a politician, but God gave me all three,” she said.
