reports that Wike made the remarks while speaking to journalists at his residence in Abuja.

The former Rivers State governor insisted that the apex court decision has resolved the long-standing factional disputes within the PDP.

According to him, “The PDP is one. The judgment has put to rest reactions of factions within the party.”

Wike also weighed in on the leadership tussle in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), saying the matter is still unresolved.

He noted that the Supreme Court had referred the ADC case back to the Federal High Court, adding that the party remains in crisis.

“The Supreme Court referred the ADC back to the Federal High Court. The ADC is still in problem,” he said.

The FCT Minister further expressed strong personal reservations about certain political actors, stressing that his criticism was not directed at political parties but at individuals.

“Not that I don’t like the party, I hate the individuals involved. I don’t like them. They are part of the people that have plunged Nigeria into problems,” Wike stated.

The Anambra State Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Charles Anueyiagu, has described a possible joint presidential ticket between former candidates Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso as a strong political alliance capable of driving national renewal and transformation in Nigeria.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

reports that Anueyiagu made this statement on Thursday during a press briefing in Awka, where he also called on both the Obidient and Kwankwasiyya movements to merge their structures into a unified platform to boost their chances in future elections.

He argued that both movements are driven by a shared goal of promoting good governance, adding that a merger would strengthen their political influence across the northern and southern regions ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, such an alliance would mark a shift away from what he described as a failing governance system that has not met the expectations of Nigerians.

Anueyiagu also referenced the 2023 presidential election, noting that the combined votes of Obi and Kwankwaso would have created a significantly stronger electoral force.

He said, “The Obidient and Kwankwasian movements are strong independent bodies serving the same purpose to give Nigeria good governance.

“In the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi scored over eight million votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso recorded over one million votes. If combined, the figures present a formidable force.”

He added that lessons from the last election had strengthened supporters’ determination, expressing optimism that a united front would yield better political results in the future.

Anueyiagu stated, “The experience of the 2023 election has taught us valuable lessons. I believe that bringing these forces together will help salvage the country and deliver positive results.”

He further emphasised that national renewal requires unity beyond ethnic and regional divisions, urging Nigerians to collectively pursue accountable leadership and improved governance.

According to him, “National rebirth is not the responsibility of one tribe but a collective duty. Nigerians must come together to confront hardship, restore accountability, and build a better future.”

reports that a video of the incident has gone viral on , showing the moment the actress confronted the men during the shoot.

In the clip, the men are seen approaching the set and insisting on a “settlement,” a common form of extortion reportedly targeted at film crews working in public spaces across Lagos.

Ademoye, speaking in a blend of English and Nigerian Pidgin, made it clear she was not opposed to appreciating people around her set but would not accept forceful demands.

“I am a street girl, let me tell you. Ask around, when it comes to matters of the street, I like settling boys. But you don’t come to me and tell me to give you a certain amount,” she said.

When one of the men insisted he was not there to beg, she quickly countered, saying: “Yes, you came to beg. You are even being proud of it.”

Tension rose when one of the men threatened to turn off her camera, prompting Ademoye to respond sharply: “Camera that nobody in your generation has.”

Although the confrontation was tense, the situation did not escalate physically, and no weapons were seen in the video. The shoot was visibly disrupted by the presence and demands of the group.

The incident has since generated reactions online, with many social media users praising the actress for her calmness, confidence, and refusal to be intimidated during the encounter.
