In a heart-wrenching incident in the Abijo area of Lagos State, a 17-year-old boy identified as Ojibe Chukwueze has reportedly taken his own life after allegedly stealing N100,000 from his employer…….CONTINUE READING
According to reports, the teenager’s body was discovered by his sister by the roadside. She recounted that Chukwueze had returned home from work, taken some money, and left. However, he failed to return home at the expected time, and his sister received a call informing her of his lifeless body lying at a nearby bus stop.
Adding to the tragedy, the sister later received a call from Chukwueze’s employer, alleging that he had stolen N100,000 from the shop. Upon reaching the scene, she found her brother’s lifeless body with a container of sniper pesticide beside him.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that an investigation has been launched to uncover the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death. Foam was reportedly gushing out of his mouth and nostrils, and the sniper container was recovered as evidence.
As the investigation unfolds, the community is left grappling with the devastating loss and seeking answers to the tragic events leading to the young boy’s untimely demise.
