Tinubu made this acknowledgment on Tuesday at the Aso Villa mosque in Abuja during the first Tafsir, marking the commencement of Ramadan.
President Tinubu urged Nigerians to exhibit sacrificial acts, discipline themselves, demonstrate kindness towards one another and their neighbors, and support the less privileged in society.
He stated, “We thank Almighty Allah for granting us another holy month of Ramadan. Despite the challenges we face, Allah expects us to make sacrifices, exercise discipline, assist others, and show kindness.”
Acknowledging the prevalent issues such as kidnapping and banditry, President Tinubu prayed for mercy and acceptance of good deeds from Allah for all Nigerians.
He emphasized the role of Ulamas in teaching forgiveness, patience, and endurance to the faithful, encouraging them to share their blessings with others and contribute to making Nigeria a better place.
President Tinubu concluded by praying for the strength and character to overcome challenges and foster unity and progress in Nigeria.
