Philip Shaibu, plucked from political obscurity by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, seems to be rushing to attain goals that could have been achieved through patience and diligent effort. Upon taking office approximately eight years ago, it was claimed that Shaibu instigated discord between Governor Godwin Obaseki and his benefactor, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, in order to gain favor with Obaseki, his current boss. Philip was the mastermind behind the strategy, collaborating with Oshiomhole’s ward chairman, which ultimately led to Oshiomhole’s removal from his position as National Chairman.
