Recalling that the 48-year-old actress exchanged vows with her partner, Fidelis Anosike, in April 2022, Dominic shared in a recent interview with Joy 99.7 FM the rationale behind her delayed nuptials.
She explained that she opted to delay marriage to ensure she was entering into matrimony for genuine reasons rather than succumbing to societal pressure.
Dominic recounted enduring years of societal pressure to marry but chose to disregard it until the time felt right for her.
She stated, “Why did I wait so long before getting married? I wanted to be sure that I was marrying for the right reasons and not for the reasons that stem from societal pressure.”
Acknowledging persistent queries about her single status, Dominic emphasized her determination to marry on her own terms and timeline, prioritizing her personal fulfillment over societal expectations.
Reflecting on her journey to finding the right partner, Dominic affirmed that while she encountered several potential suitors, she adhered to the belief that compatibility should not be forced.

In a viral video detailing the incident, Sandra explained that hours after participating in the morning service, taking communion, and paying her regular offering, she attempted to fund a voucher purchase by transferring N1,640,200 to her personal Zenith Bank account. Instead, the heavy sum was erroneously sent to the church account.
