According to Destalker, FunnyBone confidently asserted that he wouldn’t sustain his success and would fade away within six months. This revelation occurred during an episode of the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Shopsydoo, where Destalker was a guest.
Reflecting on the incident, Destalker recounted how FunnyBone’s skepticism arose after he won his first Best Comedian of the Year award. In an act of jealousy, FunnyBone publicly declared, “What does he feel like? Let’s give him 6 months.” Unbeknownst to FunnyBone, Destalker overheard the remark.
Furthermore, FunnyBone expressed doubt by comparing Destalker’s potential trajectory to that of another comedian, Akpororo, questioning his sustainability in the industry. However, Destalker remained unfazed by the skepticism and determined to let his success speak for itself.
Destalker went on to defy FunnyBone’s prediction by clinching the same prestigious award for four consecutive years, emphasizing the significance of divine timing over human speculation.

When the appointment was first announced, Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, highlighted Aina’s deep background in digital infrastructure, public-sector reforms, and national examination systems, noting his historic milestone as one of Nigeria’s youngest computer engineering professors.
In his inaugural address, Aina acknowledged the foundation laid by his predecessor—who is widely credited with modernizing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)—and vowed to expand on those achievements.
