“NO HOPE FOR P-SQUARE: Eldest Brother Drops Bombshell, Swears Peter And Paul Will Never Reconcile!”.

Published

on

Henry Okoye, the eldest brother of the separated music group P-Square, has voiced pessimism regarding a potential reconciliation between twins Peter and Paul Okoye, suggesting their extended rift has severely fractured their bond. Speaking to social commentator Jos Connection at the family home in Plateau State, Henry discussed the ongoing conflict involving Peter, Paul, and their elder brother and ex-manager, Jude Okoye.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

While acknowledging that Peter has tried to settle their differences, Henry remains skeptical that the brothers will ever restore their previous closeness. He noted, “I will be happy for them to come back together, but I don’t think it will happen. Paul was a very kind person,” while urging Paul to mend fences with Peter and recalling Peter’s support during Paul’s illness.

Henry also expressed astonishment at how Paul’s attitude has shifted over time, alleging, “Peter is trying. I don’t know if Jude used juju on Paul because he was the nicest person in the family before. But the way he changed is surprising,” and mentioning that he has reviewed Peter’s public explanations about the crisis.

Recounting past grievances from P-Square’s early days, Henry claimed he was initially promised a 20 percent share of their earnings, an arrangement he alleged Jude blocked. He also stated that Peter once directed him to Jude regarding unpaid money. Despite multiple mediation efforts by individuals like Shehu Dantata, Henry noted that the family has struggled to find a resolution.

The tension within the Okoye family goes back years, triggering P-Square’s initial 2017 breakup before a brief reconciliation in 2021. Another fallout occurred in 2024 when Peter accused Paul and Jude of financial mismanagement and side-stepping royalties through Northside Music Limited, while Paul defended Jude and blamed Peter for legal troubles. This led to legal action, including the arraignment of Jude by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over substantial funds, with Peter testifying in the case and later acknowledging under cross-examination in February 2026 that he was a co-signatory to Northside Entertainment Limited’s account.

Despite the deep-seated bitterness and ongoing legal battles, Henry emphasized that he has forgiven everyone and hopes for a family reunion, calling on Jude to help mediate and encouraging his brothers to put the past behind them.

DEVASATION IN CAMP: Christantus Uche’s 2026/27 Campaign Shattered By Gruelling Knee Injury!.

Published

on

Getafe has been dealt a severe blow ahead of the 2026/27 La Liga campaign following confirmation that Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche will miss the entire season due to a severe right knee injury.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, an MRI scan performed after Getafe’s pre-season friendly against Monaco revealed multiple tears to the ligaments and menisci in Uche’s right knee. The 23-year-old sustained the injury near the end of the match at Stade Louis II when Monaco defender Christian Mawissa delivered a forceful challenge that twisted his leg. Mawissa received a straight red card for the tackle, while Uche received medical attention on the pitch before being stretchered off.

Diagnosis and Immediate Outlook

Although Getafe initially characterized the issue as a mere “bruise” to instill hope that the damage was minor, follow-up evaluations confirmed extensive structural damage. Uche is scheduled to undergo surgery in the coming days, marking the start of an extended rehabilitation process that effectively ends his season before it has even begun.

Impact on Club and Country

  • Club Level: The timing is deeply disappointing for Uche, who recently returned to Getafe following a loan spell at Crystal Palace and was poised to be a key figure in manager José Bordalás’ tactical plans. With the Madrid club also gearing up for a UEFA Europa Conference League campaign, his absence presents a significant hurdle for the coaching staff.

  • National Team: The development is equally detrimental to Nigeria’s national team, as Uche is now set to sidelined for the Super Eagles’ upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
