Just a day after the demise of esteemed Nollywood icon, John Okafor, affectionately known as Mr Ibu, his adopted daughter, Jasmine, has made the decision to rebrand his personal TikTok account, which boasted over 1 million followers, under her own name….READ ALSO

 

A quick inspection of the late actor’s TikTok profile on Sunday by DAILY POST unveiled that the account has undergone a name change to @LadyJasminec_live.

Furthermore, Jasmine seems to have purged all of the late actor’s videos from the platform, retaining only those featuring herself.

This turn of events has triggered a wave of disapproval on social media, with fans of the late actor criticizing Jasmine for “interfering” with his legacy.

It is worth recalling that the actor passed away on Saturday night, following his return from the hospital after successful surgeries that resulted in the amputation of one of his legs.

Dr. Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, confirmed his demise, attributing it to cardiac arrest.
