He highlighted that the United States stood as Africa’s second-largest trading partner, with two-way trade exceeding $10.6 billion in 2022.
Stevens emphasized the diverse sectors where American companies are actively operating in Nigeria, including manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and technology. He stated that there are over 80 U.S. companies currently conducting business operations within the country.
