Here’s a simple recipe to make your own:
Ingredients:
- Carrier oil (such as jojoba oil or sweet almond oil)
- Essential oils (various scents of your choice)
- Distilled water
- Optional: dried herbs or flowers for added fragrance
Instructions:
- Choose your desired essential oils based on the fragrance you want to create. Popular choices include lavender, rose, jasmine, citrus oils, and vanilla.
- In a small glass bottle or perfume roller, combine the carrier oil with your chosen essential oils. Use about 80-90% carrier oil and 10-20% essential oils, depending on your preference for scent strength.
- Add a few drops of distilled water to the mixture to help emulsify the oils and blend them together.
- Optional: For additional fragrance and aesthetic appeal, add a small amount of dried herbs or flowers to the perfume bottle. These can include lavender buds, rose petals, or jasmine flowers.
- Close the bottle tightly and shake well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Let the perfume mixture sit for at least 24 hours to allow the scents to meld together and develop.
- After 24 hours, test the perfume on your skin to see if you’re happy with the scent. You can adjust the fragrance by adding more essential oils if needed.
- Once you’re satisfied with the scent, your natural perfume is ready to use! Apply it to pulse points like wrists, neck, and behind the ears for a long-lasting fragrance.

Oshiomhole, who also served as the former President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), praised Wike for his developmental efforts and expressed gratitude to the PDP for allowing him to serve as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) under the APC government.
Wike, previously a staunch PDP member, supported APC’s Bola Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election after a fallout with his party. As a reward for his support, Wike was appointed FCT Minister.
Oshiomhole compared the situation to a football club letting its “best player” join a rival team. “Thank you, PDP, for giving us Nyesom Wike to help us fix Abuja,” he said. “When you give your best player to another club, you pay a heavy price.”
The lawmaker representing Edo North also joked about the PDP’s decision, saying they didn’t ask for a transfer fee and hinted that the APC might not want to return Wike, even joking about setting up a toll gate to prevent it.
At a New Year luncheon in Port Harcourt, Oshiomhole praised Wike for his contributions to Abuja, highlighting his commitment to the rule of law and environmental regulations.

The operation was carried out in partnership with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) as part of a major counter-terrorism effort. Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Osoba, Chief Military Information Officer of MNJTF, confirmed the interception on Thursday. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Mr. Murktar Alhaji Chari, admitted to transporting the materials to Damasak town in Mobbar Local Government Area for an attack targeting MNJTF troops. The seized items included four empty 12kg cylinders, one 6kg cylinder, two carburettor gas canisters, two pressure regulators, and a hose. Intelligence suggests the materials were intended for terrorists planning a retaliatory strike after recent losses, including the death of several militants and the capture of significant weapons. The suspect is currently in custody and cooperating with ongoing investigations. According to reports, the ruling party’s candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia, conceded defeat to former President Mahama after the December 7 election.
