The atmosphere at the camp was charged with anticipation and determination as the players, including goalkeepers Chiamaka Nnadozie, Tochukwu Oluehi, Linda Jiwaku, and Akudo Ogbonna, reported for duty early on Tuesday morning.

Joining them were Rasheedat Ajibade, Michelle Alozie, Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Abiodun Deborah, Ifeoma Onumonu, and Gift Monday, adding depth and skill to the squad.

With 10 more players expected to join them shortly, the camp is set to buzz with activity and competition as the coaching staff, led by Head Coach Randy Waldrum, fine-tunes strategies and tactics for the upcoming matches.

Waldrum, who arrived from the United States, brings with him expertise and experience to guide the team through the challenging qualifiers.

The first leg of the encounter will see Cameroon host the Super Falcons at the Stade de la Reunification in Douala on Friday, setting the stage for an intense battle between the two African powerhouses.

The reverse fixture, scheduled for the following week at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, promises to be equally electrifying as the Super Falcons aim to secure their spot in the Olympic Games.
