Faced with the challenge of finding employment during this period, he embarked on a job search across Lagos, only to encounter disappointment after disappointment.

Amidst the frustration of job hunting, Joeboy found himself working as a marketer in a pure water factory, a role born out of necessity rather than choice. “I told myself, ‘You really have to make sure you make it [in the music industry],'” Joeboy recounted.
