Jibrin declared: “The school children that were kidnapped, it’s actually a difficult thing to talk about; my sympathy goes to the families of those kidnapped kids and those who lost their lives in the hands of kidnappers and bandits. What I can assure you is that the president and his government are doing everything possible to see that the security situation is tackled.“

He emphasized that government attention is tightly focused on securing the victims’ release.
