Sanusi: Economic Hardship Not Blamed On Tinubu Administration....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mohammed Sanusi, asserted that attributing the current economic challenges to President Bola Tinubu’s administration is unjust, highlighting mismanaged economic policies of the past eight years as the root cause of Nigeria’s economic woes……..CONTINUE READING
Speaking virtually during a religious event in Abuja on Sunday, Sanusi emphasized that the nation’s economic struggles were foreseeable due to flawed monetary policies implemented over the years.
Sanusi cautioned against singling out Tinubu for criticism regarding the prevailing economic difficulties, stating that Nigeria had been living beyond its means, accumulating substantial debts both domestically and internationally during the previous administration.
He remarked, “I cannot, in fairness, hold President Tinubu solely responsible for our current predicament. While he may not be faultless, the current economic hardships cannot be solely attributed to his administration.”
Sanusi commended Tinubu’s decision to abolish fuel subsidies, recognizing the necessity of such measures given Nigeria’s financial constraints. He stressed the urgency of addressing the nation’s economic challenges, advocating for prudent financial management and responsible governance.
Addressing the removal of fuel subsidies, Sanusi emphasized its inevitability, citing the unsustainable nature of subsidizing fuel in Nigeria. He urged citizens to endure the hardship while calling on the affluent to assist the less privileged during these trying times.
In conclusion, Sanusi urged Nigerians to adjust their lifestyles to match their earnings, emphasizing the importance of fiscal discipline amidst economic uncertainties.
Tinubu had announced the removal of fuel subsidies in his inaugural speech in 2023, citing the need to redirect funds towards critical sectors such as healthcare, transportation, education, housing, and national security. However, the removal of subsidies resulted in widespread hardship, triggering protests across several states as citizens grappled with skyrocketing prices of essential commodities.

THE CURSE IS BROKEN! Abia Monarchs Launch Powerful Spiritual Counter-Attack, Nullify ‘Evil Libation’ Against Governor Alex Otti!.
High-ranking traditional rulers from the Ibeku Egwu Asaa clan in Umuahia North have formally reversed a traditional curse and libation poured against Governor Alex Otti by a former Commissioner in the state, Chief Charles Ogbonnaya.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The controversy erupted after a viral video surfaced showing Ogbonnaya pouring a libation and raising a kola nut to complain to the ancestors that Governor Otti was allegedly neglecting the capital by running the state from his private residence in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South.
Reacting swiftly to protect their land, the custodians of Ibeku tradition gathered to perform a counter-ritual, declaring the former Commissioner’s unilateral actions null and void. While acknowledging Ogbonnaya as a prominent son of the soil, the Royal Fathers emphasized that no individual has the right to invoke the ancestors or play politics with the name of the clan without the express approval of the traditional council.
“Our son performed a traditional role he was never mandated to carry out,” the monarchs stated during the cleansing ceremony. “We are entirely dissatisfied with his actions. We hereby reverse every evil wine and spoken word directed against Governor Alex Otti. It shall continue to be well with the Governor.”
The traditional rulers passed a vote of confidence in Governor Otti’s performance so far, warning politicians against using sacred cultural institutions to wage political warfare.

Spiritual Counter-Attack: Ibeku Traditional Rulers Neutralize Ritual Targeting Governor Alex Otti
The political atmosphere in Abia State took a dramatic cultural turn as top traditional rulers from Umuahia North assembled to completely neutralize an offensive traditional libation directed at Governor Alex Otti.
The ritual was originally performed by former Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Commissioner, Charles Ogbonnaya, who publicly accused the Governor of abandoning the official Government House in Umuahia to govern from his country home.
However, the Ibeku Egwu Asaa Traditional Council has completely disowned the act. In a powerful counter-ritual, the monarchs poured a fresh libation to cleanse the land and erase any spiritual negative impact intended for the state’s chief executive.
The Royal Fathers strongly cautioned against weaponizing ancestral traditions for partisan politics, reiterating that they are deeply proud of Governor Otti’s developmental strides in Abia State. By overruling the former commissioner, the monarchs have drawn a firm line between legitimate political criticism and unsanctioned traditional interference.
