The remark came as Burna Boy responded to a Davido fan who insulted him for losing four Grammys recently.
Under a post on Burna Boy’s X account, the Davido fan, using the DMW boss as his profile picture, commented, “Ode, bottled four Grammys.” In response, Burna Boy retorted, “The real joke is in your display pic.”
However, Burna Boy later deleted his comment after the fan changed his profile picture from Davido to the ‘African Giant.’
Another fan tried to taunt the singer for deleting his comment, prompting Burna Boy to explain that he did so because the troll changed his profile picture.
Despite the deletion, Burna Boy’s comment has sparked criticism on social media, with many condemning his statement.
