• Avoid Unsolicited Payments: Nigerians must refrain from sending money based on unsolicited demands and should report any suspicious behavior through official channels.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled September 19, 2026, for by-elections to fill five vacant legislative positions across Gombe, Kano, Bauchi, and Delta states, as shared on its official X handle on Friday.
